The Dunes is a Warana duplex build just a stone’s throw from the beach. The vision was for a warm, coastal contemporary style, with Mediterranean influence.
We were enlisted to design a custom palette of Colour & Finish Selections. For the grand facade, we wanted to make the facade designed by @suncoastbuildingdesign shine even more beautifully 💫
We utilised soft, warm whites and neutrals including ‘Nordic Oak’ battens by @knotwoodaustralia ‘Inaminka’ stone cladding @the_hauscollective and undulating render.
The landscaping softens the facade and promotes its coastal setting. I adore the architectural form of the Xanthorrhoea Grass Trees, the way their leaves move with the coastal breezes is so calming 😍

The selections are complete for our Buderim project 🥰 This sprawling home is tucked away in a peaceful natural bush setting, we are embracing the warm richness and depth from nature with hardwood flooring, Da Vinci green Quartzite, warm neutrals and deep timbers.

This was the design brief for our Mooloolaba Marmo project.
Living on the water on the Sunshine Coast is a very special lifestyle, one that is filled with checking the tide times, enjoying the different seasons of fishing throughout the year (gar in the winter, mud crabs 🦀 in the lead up to Christmas, the odd Jack), enjoying the beautiful sunsets and cooling breezes.
Modern Coastal style with its clean lines, warm timbers and fresh whites really suits waterfront living. Our client wanted a splash of pretty femininity/ Hamptons. We achieved this with our herringbone marble feature tile, VJ panel and brass tapware 🥰

This rooftop wasn’t initially going to be included in the scope of work- we are SO GLAD they decided to upgrade the cream 450 x 450mm builders range tiles 😅 to the divine French pattern travertine 💕 The black bbq wasn’t bringing much to the table either and the spa interior was straight out of the 1980s.
